K HOUSE

The façade tells a story of duality. From a distance, it presents a clear division: lighter bricks above, darker below. Yet, as one approaches, this distinction dissolves into a multicoloured surface, a mosaic of partially glazed bricks that shimmer and shift with the light. This play of colour and texture brings a sense of depth and dynamism to the building's exterior.
The street-facing façade maintains a classical symmetry, a nod to its historic surroundings. However, subtle deviations hint at the individuality within. The side and rear elevations break from tradition, featuring sculptural compositions that reflect the diverse interior spaces.
The building's brickwork features a unified form with diverse coloration
The color zones are distinct from a distance but blur into a multi-colored surface up close.
The use of repeating, similarly toned bricks balances formal rigour and playful composition.
K House exemplifies a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation. Through its thoughtful design and expressive brickwork, it engages in a dialogue with its context, offering a contemporary perspective on classical forms.
